What is it?
The box jump is a training’s material which is
used with the main goal of improving the performance. This fact can get it because
of the increase of reactivity and force in the muscle skeletal structures in
athletics accions. These improvements are produced in the lower limbs.
This type of material training can be present
in sessions of different sports like football, basketball or volleyball.
Nowadays, its popularity goes in the line of the rise of Crossfit.
The main characteristics are:
Different heights which are related with the
jump ability of the athlete and the goals of the training session

Where we can get them?
There are different pages, on the Internet,
which offer boxes jumps. Also, they have different prices which are in relation
with the material and the heights. One of this page is Singular Wood that it
offers a box jump, of wood, which it can be modify the height (51cm, 61cm and
76cm) and there are two prices 120€ and 149€. Also, they have a smaller box
(30cm, 40cm and 50cm) and the price is 79€.

In relation with the first part of this post,
the boxes jump have the function of develop the performance and the jump
ability. For that, the conditioning coaches use this type of training, called
“Pliometrics”, with the goal of improving the strength and power of the lower
limb. Therefore, there are many of exercises in this training jump. Next, you
